The association Sourire du Cœur in collaboration with the group Label’Vie, proceeded, Friday and Saturday 10/11 May 2019 in the village of Jamaa Shayem (Region of Safi), to the organization of the food support operation “Ramadan 1440”, by the distribution of food baskets on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
This action of generosity, highly significant in this blessed month, translates the solicitude and the constant commitment of the association towards the deprived persons and comes to consecrate the values of solidarity, mutual aid and sharing characteristic of the association.
Organized with the support of the Label’Vie group, through its hypercash brand “Atacado”, this solidarity operation, which is in its 5th edition, is now an annual appointment and an opportunity to bring help and comfort to the most vulnerable social categories, including widows, the elderly and people with disabilities.
It is in line with the humanitarian program conducted by the association Sourire du Cœur and aims to provide support to people who need it most, while promoting the culture of solidarity.
The operation “Ramadan 1440”, has benefited to 250 needy families, who have received each a food basket.
For the smooth running of this operation, the members of the association were mobilized, supported by local authorities, and volunteers from civil society on site.
